Why Mother & Child:
Our lactation consultants are experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).
We can help you prepare for your baby’s first feed, support you during your breastfeeding journey and to discuss your breastfeeding concerns & questions. Breastfeeding your baby is one of the most natural and beautiful things you can imagine. To get off to a good start, our lactation consultation session can build your confidence and give you further knowledge about the whole process.
Virtual consultation: We now provide you with the option to have a “Lactation Consultation via video conference”.

1 hour session at our centre or your home or via video conferencing

A $30 transport surcharge is applicable in addition to the home visit fee for addresses more than 8km from our Tanglin Mall centre. We will confirm this when we contact you to set the appointment time.

Getting off to a good start on breastfeeding your baby or you had a previous difficult breastfeeding experience
Having a low milk supply, over supply, breast anomalies, nipple thrush, breast reduction/enhancement

The best time to get off to a good start is to have a lactation consultation at the hospital or at home, one or two days after the birth of your baby. A lactation consultation is also recommended at any time if you are having any concerns or a difficult breastfeeding experience.
We also recommend a Pre-lactation consultation if you have had a previous difficult breastfeeding experience or have breast anomalies or breast surgery.
